A 20-year-old Chicago man was shot to death Saturday morning in Little Village.

The police said Giovanni Galvan was shot around 10:15 a.m. by someone who drove up as he stood on the sidewalk in the 3100 block of West 24th Street, striking him in the chest, abdomen, back and arm. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The suspect, Xavier Tate, 22, had used the card in a store not long before Huesca was gunned down on April 21 in the 3100 block of West 56th Street, Police Supt. Larry Snelling said at a news conference as Tate made his first court appearance on murder charges.
