A man was shot late Saturday while walking in the Southwest Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

The 35-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 10:17 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 63rd when several males walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.

The man, 26, suffered wounds to the stomach and back and was hospitalized in fair condition.
The 34-year-old victim died at the University of Chicago Medical Center Saturday evening, police said.
