Do your winter travel plans include a visit to Las Vegas?

The critically acclaimed “The Beatles LOVE” at the Mirage Resort is offering visitors a unique opportunity with “open rehearsals” on select Fridays and Sundays. There is no charge for this unique peek backstage at the Cirque du Soleil production inside the LOVE Theater, which lets you observe the show’s cast members as they rehearse. The next scheduled dates are Dec. 16 and 18.

“We are opening our doors to show fans exactly what it takes to bring LOVE to life,” said Melanie Lalande, artistic director of “The Beatles LOVE,” in a statement. “When you experience something as extraordinary as this show, you can’t help but wonder how our artists are able to do the things they do, whether it’s Lucy flying over the audience or acrobats flipping through the air during the trampoline act in Revolution. It’s an amazing opportunity to fall for LOVE in a totally new way.”

The Grammy-winning production, celebrating its 10th anniversary at the Mirage, was recently revamped, making it “lighter …brighter … happier” Lalande said.

The schedule for the free, open rehearsal experience: 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Fridays; 3 to 3:30 p.m. Sundays. The rehearsals are subject to cancellation, so call the box office at (702) 792-7735 to confirm availability. Patrons are asked to meet at the Love Theater lobby entrance.
