A 42-year-old man was shot in the left leg early Friday while driving in Humboldt Park.

It happened at 4:10 a.m., as he was driving in the 3500 block of West Augusta Boulevard, according to the police, who said a vehicle pulled alongside, and someone inside it shot at him.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
