A 16-year-old boy was shot Monday evening in the McKinley Park neighborhood on the South Side.

He was in an alley just before 6 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Hoyne when a gray car drove through and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left food and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
