A man was shot Monday morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened at 9:13 a.m. in the 300 bock of West 114th Street, according to Chicago Police.

The 38-year-old victim was shot in the back and was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
