Players always talk about having a short memory after a bad loss. The Bulls need to forget Sunday as quickly as possible before they head to Utah for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Unfortunately for the Bulls, when it comes to ugly losses, they tend to not recover all that well. Already this season, the Bulls have lost by at least 15 points on five different occasions, including Sunday’s 120-93 loss to the Clippers.
In the game immediately following their blowout loss, the Bulls are 1-3.
Butler: We lack discipline in a lot of areas. Gasol: we're not disciplined. That's a fact

Their only win following an ugly loss came after the very first time in happened in November against the Hornets, when they followed with a win over Oklahoma City. Two of the three losses came to teams that are currently below the .500 mark.
Three of the five blowout losses came in the month of January and after losing by 15 to the Atlanta Hawks they followed up with a loss to the Washington Wizards by 14.
Adding to the difficulty of winning Monday night is the back-to-back road games. The Bulls are 3-4 in back-to-back games so far this season and 2-2 in those games after losing the first.
Monday night, the Bulls will play a team they should otherwise beat in the Utah Jazz. However, according to Bovada they are a four-point underdog. This very well could be because of the Bulls’ lack of success following a blowout loss and playing a second game in as many days.
