The Jumpman logo can be seen throughout college basketball. Teams across the country have their jerseys supplied by Jordan.

Now, the brand will invade football.

Michael Jordan made the announcement Thursday that the University of Michigan’s football team will be the first school to wear Jordan apparel.

This decision comes just weeks after Michigan made the announcement they would be leaving adidas.

While it’s not one of the traditional Jordan schools, like North Carolina, Georgetown, or even Marquette, Michigan makes sense. The Wolverines are one of the most historic college football teams in the country with an enormous fan base.

The Ohio State and Michigan rivalry starts again

With Michigan now set to wear the Jumpman logo, it seems there is only one thing that Ohio State can do in response. Develop a LeBron James brand uniform.
