Kyle Schwarber gets first career hit, gives Cubs the lead

In the top of the second inning, Cubs designated hitter Kyle Schwarber recorded his first career hit and it was an RBI triple.

This was Schwarber’s second plate appearance in the major leagues, and he gave the Cubs the lead against the Cleveland Indians.

Schwarber only hit one triple in 243 at-bats in Double-A this season.
