Before the college basketball season starts, ESPN NBA Draft analyst Chad Ford released his draft big board.

Among the top NBA prospects is Notre Dame guard Demetrius Jackson. Jackson’s production will increase now that the Fighting Irish will be without top scorer Jerian Grant, who was drafted by the New York Knicks in June.

From Ford:

Jackson likely would’ve been a late first-round pick had he declared for the draft in April. He’s a terrific athlete, plays with a great motor, is very quick, a good defender and a solid shooter. However, he often played in the shadow of Jerian Grant. Now that it’s his team to run, I expect he’ll be able to push his draft stock up to the late lottery. As it stands right now, he’s the best point guard prospect in the draft.

Jackson averaged 12 points, three rebounds and three assists last season.
