A 17-year-old girl was shot late Friday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

She was outside about 10:35 p.m. in the 5100 block of West Fulton when someone came out from an alley and shot her in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken in good condition to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, police said.
