A man was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was standing in the street at 12:45 a.m. in the 2100 block of South Harding when three males approached him and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the groin and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
