Two women were wounded in a Little Village neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the Southwest Side.

The women, ages 22 and 31, were walking on the sidewalk about 1:35 a.m. in the 3000 block of South St. Louis when they heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The younger woman was shot in the right foot, while the older woman suffered a gunshot wound to the right calf, police said. Both of their conditions were stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital.
