Man shot in Clearing

A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday evening in the Clearing neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 19-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg at 6:08 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Lawler, according to Chicago Police. The circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
