An infant girl and a teenage girl reported missing Sunday evening from the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side have returned home and are safe.

Gabrielle Ellis, 15, and 10-month-old McKenzie Hodges were last seen at 1:57 p.m. Saturday in the 7800 block of Laflin Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Ellis was headed to the 800 block of North Lawler with Hodges when she was last seen, police said.

About 11 p.m. Sunday, Chicago Police said both girls had returned home and were safe.
