A man was shot Thursday morning in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The 23-year-old victim was in the 8800 block of South Loomis at 8:18 a.m. when someone walked up to him and fired, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left foot and was taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
