Man, 22, shot in Lake View

A man was wounded Saturday night in a shooting in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

The 22-year-old was shot in the groin about 9 p.m. in the 900 block of West Sheridan, according to Chicago Police. He went to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.

Area North detectives were investigating.

The employee, a 45-year-old man, exchanged gunfire Friday night with two people who entered the business in the 2900 block of West North Avenue and announced a robbery.
