A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Old Town neighborhood on the Near North side.

The 22-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about noon in the 1300 block of North Hudson when someone approached him on foot and fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was shot multiple times in the back and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.
