Boy, 15, missing from Lake View found safe

A 15-year-old boy who was reported missing from Lake View last week has been found safe.

Alexander Diaz had last been seen about 10:40 p.m. Oct. 16 near the 2900 block of North Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.

Police canceled the missing person alert Wednesday, saying he had been safely located.

No further information was available.
