CTA Brown Line trains are running again after a mechanical problem on the Northwest Side disrupted service for about an hour Monday.

Brown Line trains were initially halted about 11:40 a.m. because of a mechanical problem on a train near Kedzie, according to CTA service alerts. By 12:19 p.m., service was fully suspended between Kimball and Western.
