Former Bears linebacker and 1998 NFL Hall of Fame inductee Mike Singletary, who was drafted by the Bears in 1981, will add another accolade to his name this weekend.

The 10-time pro bowler will be inducted into the Texas High School Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Singletary, who grew up in Houston, Tx., played high school football at Houston Worthing High School. He also played his college ball in Texas at Baylor University, where he was a two-time All-American linebacker.

The Bears legend recorded 1,488 tackles during his 12-year career, which is second in Bears history.
