A woman and man were wounded in a shooting Thursday on the border of Humboldt Park and Garfield Park on the West Side.
The shooting happened about 3:40 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Chicago Avenue, Chicago police said.
The 18-year-old woman was shot in the back, and the 27-year-old man was struck in the thigh and arm, police said.
They were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions stabilized, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
