A 40-year-old woman was found shot to death in West Town Tuesday.
Officers responded to calls of a person shot about 8:56 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Grand Avenue and found Johanna Garrison, 40, unresponsive in a living room, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Garrison, who lived in north suburban Glenview, had a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead on the scene, police and the medical examiner’s office said.
Police said the incident may have been domestic related. Detectives questioned a man in connection with the shooting, but he was later released without being charged.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
