A teenage boy was shot Sunday in West Rogers Park on the North Side.

The boy, 17, was shot in the side and arm about 8:05 p.m. in an alley on North Seeley Avenue, Chicago police said.

The boy took himself to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, police said. He was in good condition.

Area North detectives are investigating.
