A 46-year-old woman was shot to death as she stood outside early Saturday in Grand Crossing.

About 2:30 a.m., someone in a car pulled up and shot Brandy Watts as she stood in the street in the 7000 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

She was transported to the University of Chicago medical center where she was pronounced dead, police said.

No one has been arrested.
