Newly installed on the “Weekend Update” desk, former Chicago improviser and Oak Park native Cecily Strong was also just tapped to do her inaugural promo spots with “Saturday Night Live’s” October 12 guest Bruce Willis. The bits include obligatory “Die Hard” cracks and several other goofy gags. And, yes, Bruce wails on his harmonica.
