A 13-year-old boy has been missing from the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side for nearly two weeks.

Salvador Gallegos was last seen June 29 in the 4200 block of South Campbell, according to a missing person alert issued by Area Central detectives.

Gallegos was described as a Hispanic boy, standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 130 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes, brown hair and a light complexion.

He was last seen wearing a green Mexico zip-up jacket, blue jeans and black Converse gym shoes, police said.

He is known to frequent the areas of Pershing and Ashland, 35th and Wood, 33rd and Western and 45th and Richmond, police said.
