A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday evening in the Budlong Woods neighborhood on the North Side.

About 5:40 p.m., the 24-year-old was in the 5200 block of North Washtenaw when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at Swedish Covenant Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated the shooting, police said.
