A 23-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood.

The man was shot in the left hand just after 2 p.m. near Cortland and California, according to Chicago Police. He drove himself to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, where his condition has stabilized.

Police said the shooting might have been self-inflicted.
