Construction work beginning Monday will force a two-month closure of a ramp on Illinois Route 390 in northwest suburban Schaumburg.

Weather permitting, the ramp that carries traffic from eastbound Frontage Road onto eastbound Route 390 — previously the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway — will be closed for bridge work, the Illinois Tollway said in a statement. A time the closure will begin was not released.

Detour signs will be posted.

The work will be done on bridge that carries traffic over Rodenburg Road as part of the Illinois Route 390 project.
