UPDATE: Cleveland, Dallas finalists for RNC 2016 convention

Cleveland and Kansas City are out of the running for the 2016 Republican National Convention and Dallas could be picked as the winner as early as today, according to reports.

In addition to Dallas, Denver is the only other city still in the running, sources tell Denver’s 9News.

A source says Cleveland and Kansas City were eliminated because both of those cities lack the infrastructure the RNC site selection committee desires.

Cleveland had been banking on Johnny Manziel to help win the GOP convention.
