A man was shot during a robbery in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Saturday evening.

The 50-year-old was riding a bicycle about 6:50 p.m. in the 200 block of South Kildare when a person approached him and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the foot and taken to Loretto Hospital in good condition, police said.
