In the dark, doing yoga while looking at the constellations at the Adler Planetarium. Sounds like fun! | Adler Planterarium Photo

I’m writing about this early because I’m betting it is going to sell out. And why wouldn’t it? This sounds so enjoyable.

Start next weekend with Vinyasa yoga at the Adler Planterarium. You’ll be looking up at the stars on the dome in the Grainger Sky Theater. How cool is that?

The Vinyasa Flow yoga class will be led by Yoga By Degrees. (In all yoga, proper breathing is important, but in Vinyasa the breathing is especially linked to the specific movements the yogi leads you through.)

The hourlong class begins at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 1. Tickets are $15, which includes admission to the museum. (Tickets are $10 if you are a Planetarium member.) Oh, and if you don’t get into this one, there will be another class held at the Planetarium on 8:30 a.m. Dec. 6.

It’s BYOYM — Bring Your Own Yoga Mat; there will not be any mats on hand to borrow. Also, you must be 10 or older to attend. To register, visit here.
