First he gets accused of sleeping, now come accusations that Mike Ditka farted on live TV.

During ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” analysts Cris Carter and Ditka were discussing the Giants-Eagles game with host Chris Berman, when a flatulent-like sound leaked on to the air. Carter stopped momentarily and gave Coach the accusatory stare.

Was it Ditka? What about Boomer? Or, was Carter pulling the David Feherty-Tiger Woods trick with a fart app?

Just when you think Deflategate has lost all its air, along comes Fartgate.

Internet sites ran with it, pointing fingers at Ditka, who just turned 76 over the weekend.

Coach denies any such occurrence.

“It wasn’t me,” he told the Sun-Times. “Believe me, I’m to the point in my life where it doesn’t matter. One day I’ll be happy if I can leave a fart. Right now, it wasn’t me. I don’t care what they think. They can think anything they want.”

This, too, shall pass.
