Andrew 1, Richards 0 – Maddie Sherwood (5-2) pitched a complete game for the Thunderbolts (9-4) striking out five and allowing two hits. Miranda Humes finished 1-for-3 with an RBI in the win, while Gianni Iannantone went 1-for-3 with a run.

Barrington 5, Libertyville 0 – Rachel McDonald led the Broncos (13-3) finishing 2-for-3 with two RBI in their shutout victory.

Conant 5, South Elgin 1 – Winning pitcher Sam Gadomski struck out five and allowed only one run over five innings for the Cougars. Alexa Rogalla and Amber Derr each finished with a double in the victory.

Dundee-Crown 15, Thornwood 0 – Deanna Origer finished with three RBI in the win for the Chargers.

Fremd 5, Cary-Grove 2 – Julia Waker led the Vikings (14-1) in their win finishing 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Grayslake North 11, Johnsburg 8 – Kayla Switala finished with a triple, an RBI and three runs in the win for the Knights. Allison Szramek also finished strong with a double, two RBI and two runs.

Grayslake North 6, Lakes 5 – Jessica Vaughn pitched a complete game for the Knights striking out four and surrendering 17 hits for the win. Jenna Pozezinski had a double and two RBI to finish the game while Lauren Olsen ended with a double, an RBI, a walk and one run.

Larkin 10, Westminster Christian 0– Sarah Hansen earned a dominating shutout win for the Royals, striking out three and surrendering only two hits over five innings. Haley Bohne finished 2-for-3 with two triples and three RBI.

Lemont 7, Lincoln-Way North 1 – Anna Smagacz and Rylie Jay each hit home runs and drove in three runs for the Indians (9-3). Dana Threet piched a complete game, allowing a run on one hit and four walks.

Leyden 11, Elmwood Park 1 – The Eagles (8-4) knocked off the Tigers thanks to the pitching of Sammi Caputo. Jodi DuBrock finished 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI while Kendall Duwal went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Lincoln-Way West 3, Oak Forest 0 – The Bengals were shutout by the Warriors (7-6) after Amanda Ruskowsky struck out six and surrendered four hits. She also went 2-for-4 with a double and one run. Kayla Seymour finished 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run while Rachel Andrade went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Marian Catholic 10-20, St. Viator 0-1 – Allison Spence struck out seven over five innings to earn the shutout win for the Spartans in Game 1 of their double header. Susie Baranski finished a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI. In Game 2, winning pitcher Alexis Wallace struck out four, giving up only one run over five innings. Susie Baranski went 4-for-5 with a homer and a double.

Naperville Central 5-5, Neuqua Valley 2-4 – Julie Kestas pitched a complete game for the Red Hawks (7-3) in their Game 1 victory. Lisa Tassi hit a huge game-winning homer while Lindsay Gonzalez hit a triple. Gonzalez also hit a triple and a double in Game 2 for Naperville Central.

New Trier 5-5, Sandburg 4-8 – Molly Kasper earned the win for the Trevians (11-7) in Game 2 of their double header. She pitched a complete game, striking out six and walking two. Maggie Rehr finished a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and a run.

Plainfield North 3-0, Morris 2-10 – The Tigers pulled off the win in Game 1 of their double header after Abbey Kruzel pitched a complete game and struck out five. Sydney Schmittel had the game-winning RBI.

Prairie Ridge 7-1, Lake Zurich 4-11 – After their loss in Game 1, the Wolves pulled it together and gained the win in Game 2. Katie Malek struck out six and surrendered three hits and two earned runs over five innings. Maggie Hilton finished a perfect 3-for-3 while also blasting a homer and ending with a double and two RBI. Sarah Schnecker went 1-for-3 with a home run as well, along with three RBI.

Reavis 3, Willowbrook 2 – Kim Baffin earned the win on the mound for the Rams (8-8) allowing no earned runs through seven innings. Marissa Meskill hit a game-tying double, and Ewelina Zahora drove in the game-winning run.

Shepard 7, Hinsdale Central 5 – Skylor Hilger led the Astros (14-2) with a home run and three RBI.

Taft 14, Northside 1 – Heidi Suwinski hit three home runs for the Eagles (8-6, 4-0 Red North).

WW South 7-6, Glenbard West 5-7 – The Tigers (5-7) picked up the win in Game 2 of their double header after Katherine Porter finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs. Hallie Park went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

York 12-13, Riverside-Brookfield 2-8 – In Game 1 of the Dukes (9-1-1) double header, Brooke Bandy (7-0-1) struck out eight to earn the win. Kyra Kroll and Sarah Milkowski each went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs. In Game 2, winning pitcher Audrey Kosman (2-1) earned the win while also finishing 2-for-4 with three RBI. Milkowski went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and three runs while Isabella Jaeger went a perfect 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs.

ANTIOCH

Antioch 4, Addison Trail 1 – Ashley Stephens hit a double and got an RBI for the Sequoits.

Antioch 15, Richmond-Burton 5 – The Sequoits were led by Jessica Tyrell’s double and three RBI.

Antioch 6, Washington 2 – Jill Foote went 3-for-4 for the Sequiots, hitting a double and home run while driving in five runs. Hannah Cook struck out three and got the win.

LOCKPORT

Downers South 7, Lockport 0 – Carolyn Hitchcock (7-0) pitched a complete game for the Mustangs (12-0) striking out nine and giving up one walk. Rebekah Ondracek went 3-for-4 with two RBI as Downers Grove South remained undefeated.

Downers South 2, Peotone 1 – After pitching a complete game for the Mustangs (13-0) Payton Buresch (6-0) finished with five strikeouts and one walk.

WASCO

IC Prep 13, Harvard 3– Anjella Farmer (5-1) struck out four and surrendered four hits in the Knights’ victory. Gabriella Curran went 3-for-4 with two triples and two RBI while Josie Lytton finished 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.

IC Prep 7, Illiana Christian 5 – Anjella Farmer (6-1) pitched a complete game for the Knights striking out three and allowing five runs. Jessica Conenna went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI while Gabriella Curran finished 1-for-4 with a double.
