Aurora Central 5, Lincoln-Way Central 3 – The Chargers moved to 14-1 after their win thanks to Matt Rahn (5-0) who pitched a complete game, striking out five and giving up no earned runs.

Brother Rice 14, De La Salle 6 – Mike Schalasky (4-0) struck out four and allowed four runs to earn the victory for the Crusaders (14-4). Mike Massey (3-for-5) and Mike Schalasky (1-for-3) each belted a grand slam and finished with four RBI. Ryan Kutt went a perfect 5-for-5 with a home run, double, three RBI and a run.

Geneva 7, Kaneland 0 – Winning pitcher James Prisco struck out three and allowed three hits over six innings in the shutout win for the Vikings (6-5). Nicholas Porretto finished 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

Glenbrook North 11, Lake Forest 0 – Brice Call earned the shutout win for the Spartans (13-3).

Glenbrook South 13, Buffalo Grove 1 – Rob Nelson (2-1) struck out six and surrendered three hits over five innings in the victory for the Titans (8-5).

Lincoln-Way West 10, Clemente 0 – The Warriors improved to 13-2 after their shutout victory. Joe Paparelli led the win hitting a three-run double and finishing with four RBI.

Lyons 8, York 0 – Jose Venegas pitched a complete game allowing two hits to earn the win for the Lions. He also went 2-for-3 while Mike Phelan finished 2-for-4 with three RBI. Chris Cooper smashed a two-run homer.

Marist 4-1, Notre Dame 0-0 – Jack Snyder (3-0) pitched a complete game for the Red Hawks’ shutout victory in Game 1 of their double header. Ryan Kairis went a perfect 2-for-2. In Game 2, Pat Meehan (3-0) pitched a complete game to earn the win. Ryan Kairis went 2-for-3 and scored the only run of the game.

Mount Carmel 15, Bishop McNamara 3 – Mike Lorenzi (3-0) remained undefeated on the mound after pitching a complete game for the Caravan (14-1), striking out eight and surrendering five hits. Malik Carpenter finished a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI while Ako Thomas went 2-for-4 with a homer, double and RBI as well.

Mundelein 4, Rolling Meadows 3 – Winning pitcher Patrick Betti carried the Mustangs (13-5) to victory while Luke Peterson finished 2-for-4 with a triple and a double. Nick Brune went 2-for-4, and Carter Naughton finished 2-for-3.

Nazareth 13-5, St. Viator 5-3 – Brandon Bossard (2-0) earned the win for the Roadrunners (12-1) in Game 1 of their double header striking out seven while giving up two runs and six hits. Matt Flach (4-for-5) hit a homer and finished with three RBI while Shane Gipson went 2-for-4 with a home run as well. In Game 2, winning pitcher Matt Wilson (4-0) struck out two and surrendered two hits over two innings for the win. Kyle Kane went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

New Trier 7, Prospect 2 – Ryan Acri and Matt Boscow finished with two hits and two RBI each in the victory for the Trevans (8-3-1).

Oak Forest 8, Illiana Christian 1 – Drew Dominik (3-1) dominated for the Bengals striking out seven and allowing only two hits over five innings. Drew Dominik went 1-for-3 for Oak Forest with a double, an RBI and one run while Kevin Johnson finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run.

Plainfield East 4, Metea Valley 3 – Cole Lynch held the Mustangs hit-less over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three earning the win in relief for the Bengals (9-5). Lynch also finished 1-for-3 with the game-winning RBI while Drew DeMumbrum went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Plainfield North 2, Glenbard South 1 – Tyler Garrity (1-0) pitched a complete game for the Tigers (10-4) striking out eight, walking two and giving up one run and three hits. Brian Van Doser and Josh Garner each finished 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Providence 16, Fenwick 2 – Brent Villasenor (4-0) pitched a complete game for the Celtics (13-2) to earn the win. He struck out six, allowed three hits, walked one and gave up two earned runs.

Reavis 14, Romeoville 1 – The Rams moved to 7-8 after winning pitcher Andrew Padilla (2-2) struck out seven, surrendering five hits over six innings. Kyle Mumane went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs while Lael Robles finished 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Richards 2, Andrew 1 – Nick Mejia led the Angels (6-7) after blasting a two-run homer in their win.

Ridgewood 2, Maine South 1 – The Rebels (5-11) gained a close victory thanks to the pitching of Mike Maurello and the game-winning RBI from Joe Uvelli. Maurello struck out four and surrendered three hits after pitching a complete game.

St. Rita 12, St. Joseph 1 – Marty Bechina finished a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, double and four RBI in the victory for the Mustangs (20-0, 4-0 Catholic League). Cal Greenfield went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI.

Stagg 11, Argo 0 – Colagelo Martinez struck out four and surrendered three hits to earn the win for the Chargers (9-6). Brett Stratinsky, Austin Greer and Josh Nowak finished with two RBI each.

Stevenson 11, Hersey 1 – Michael Kingery earned the win for the Patriots (10-4-1) after he struck out four, giving up only one run and surrendering three hits over five innings.

Taft 2, Brooks 0 – Fred Fitte led the Eagles (14-1) in their win pitching a complete game shutout, striking out six and allowing six hits.

T.F. South 9, Thornridge 5 – Wesley Nash helped the Rebels move to 5-9 after pitching five innings and striking out seven. Edgar Camarena went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs. Tresean Hall also finished 2-for-3 along with two runs and a stolen base.

Vernon Hills 5, Elmwood Park 2 – Andrew Smith earned the win over four innings pitched for the Cougars. Connor McNamara went 1-for-2 and blasted a home run.

Waubonsie Valley 3, WW South 0 – Preston Everts pitched a complete game, striking out three and surrendering four hits in the shutout win for the Warriors. Brandon Petersen finished 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Yorkville 8, Crete-Monee 5 – The Foxes improved to 14-4 after their victory over the Warriors. Matt Gruber assisted in the win finishing 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Yorkville 4, Reed-Custer 0 – Nick Sewrak pitched a complete game for the Foxes, striking out seven and allowing four hits to earn the win. Max Warren hit a double and ended with an RBI. Matt Gruber also had a double while Lucas Farren finished with two RBI.
