Two shot in South Shore

Two people were shot early Saturday in the South Shore neighborhood.

A 24-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were shot about 4:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 69th Street, according to Chicago Police.

The woman was shot in the right knee and the man was shot in the right hand, police said. They were both taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
