Man shot in Austin

A man was shot in Austin on the West Side Friday evening.

The 29-year-old was shot in both legs about 9 p.m. in the 4900 block of West Kamerling, according to Chicago Police. The shooter walked up to the man and fired shots before running away.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in good condition, police said.
