A 16-year-old boy was shot in both legs early Sunday in Englewood.

About 2 a.m., he was walking with a friend in the 700 block of West 59th Street when someone got out of a red vehicle and fired at them, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

The boy suffered gunshot wounds to the legs and buttocks, Sedevic said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.
