Sportsbook puts Johnny Manziel to Bears at 25-1

Embed from Getty ImagesAs reports of Johnny Manziel’s off-the-field troubles continue to emerge, it’s looking more and more like the former Heisman Trophy winner won’t return to the Browns next season.

With that in mind, one sportsbook has already released odds on Manziel’s 2016 landing spot, and the Bears come in at 25-1.

But Johnny Football to Chicago seems like a longshot considering the Bears’ apparent commitment to Jay Cutler, plus the fact that Chicago was the only NFC team to skip Manziel’s pro day in 2014.

Even though Manziel is signed with Cleveland through the 2017 season, the Browns don’t crack the top two on the list.

Dallas is the heavy favorite at -200, followed by St. Louis at 4-1.

Cleveland comes in third at 5-1.

A report from Sports Illustrated’s Peter King over the weekend said the Browns are “so done” with Manziel after the quarterback missed his concussion treatment Sunday because he was reportedly in Las Vegas.

The report also states that Manziel wants to play for Dallas, where owner Jerry Jones hasn’t concealed his infatuation with the former Texas A&M standout.

And even if Manziel manages to party his way out of the NFL, the odds include a move to the CFL.
