Man shot on Far South Side

A man was shot early Thursday in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 21-year-old man was standing outside about 1:20 a.m. in the 10600 block of South Green Bay Avenue when a gray car drove by and someone inside shouted gang slogans before firing shots at him, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He was shot in the right foot and taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Alfaro said.
