A 26-year-old man was killed in a Pilsen neighborhood drive-by shooting Saturday evening.

About 11 p.m.,Victor Alvarado was walking in the 1900 block of South May when someone began shooting from a passing silver car, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Alvarado was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
