A man was wounded Wednesday evening in an Austin neighborhood shooting on the West Side.

The 21-year-old heard gunshots and was shot in the thigh shortly after 8 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Corcoran Place, according to Chicago Police.

He was treated at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, police said. He was in good condition.
