A 25-year-old man who was shot last month in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side died Thursday.
About 10 p.m. on Feb. 22, Donovan Swint was a passenger in a vehicle traveling in the 9100 block of South Oglesby when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the back, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Trinity Hospital and later transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 3:47 p.m. on Thursday, authorities said. An autopsy Friday ruled his death a homicide.
No one was in custody for the shooting.
