A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a Marquette Park neighborhood shooting Saturday evening on the Southwest Side.

He was shot in the right hand at 5:04 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Talman, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Holy Cross Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.

Detectives were investigating whether this incident was related to a West Englewood neighborhood shooting that happened about the same time.
