A man was wounded Wednesday night in a West Side Austin neighborhood shooting.

The 20-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 11:16 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain in the 5200 block of West Adams, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park with a gunshot wound to the left wrist, police said. His condition stabilized.
