A 43-year-old man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the Rosemoor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

At 1:27 p.m., Anthony Robinson was inside a vehicle in the 10200 block of South Prairie Avenue when a gray vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was struck once in his lower body and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said said. Robinson lived in the same block where he was shot.

Area South detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
