Moon Alert

We have the all clear to shop and do business. The moon is in Virgo.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Technically, Mercury retrograde is over, which is good news because silly errors and goofy miscommunications will reduce. Nevertheless, if you are shopping for a car, computer or cell phone, wait until Dec. 8 to do the deed.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a playful, fun-loving day! Admittedly, with Mars opposite your sign, you must be patient with partners and close friends. Meanwhile, this is a good time to get money, favors and funding from other sources, including banks. Good to know.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Your ruler Mercury stops being retrograde today, which means the silly goofy mistakes that plague you at work will reduce. This goes for mixed-up communications and broken equipment. Relations with others are smooth and friendly. A female relative might need advice.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

There something you want to say that is important. Don’t be impatient with others if they are “wasting time” in neighborly chitchat. You’ll have a chance to make your point because who is more tenacious than you? No one!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might be focused on money issues. You also want to shop. Meanwhile, do your best to sort out whatever is happening on the home front because increased chaos and activity will create tension. Both Venus and Jupiter urge you to party and enjoy vacations and fun outings!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

The moon is in your sign, which gives you a slight advantage over all the other signs. The other piece of good news is that Mercury stops being retrograde today, which means you can count on traveling with greater confidence. Nice day to entertain at home or redecorate.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Recently, checks in the mail have been late and financial matters have been delayed because of Mercury retrograde. As of today, Mercury is no longer retrograde, which is good news. However, if you’re shopping for a car, truck, motorcycle, computer or cellphone, wait until Dec. 8 to buy.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

A warm conversation with a female acquaintance might be meaningful. Keep in mind that with the Sun, Mercury and fiery Mars all in your sign, you are coming on like gangbusters. You might want to ease up a little? Your money scene looks good, plus you can even attract money to you!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You are high visibility today, which is why others will notice you more than usual, especially bosses, VIPs and the police. (Be aware of this.) Fortunately, with Venus in your sign, you are charming and diplomatic and everyone loves you. Kiss, kiss; hug, hug.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Do something different to shake things up. Get out of your rut. Walk into a building or some kind of establishment where you have never been so that you get a sense of exploration and discovery. If you can get out of town — perfect! Ideas?

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You continue to make a fabulous impression on others, especially bosses, VIPs and parents; nevertheless, your focus is on shared property and red-tape issues. Set aside 15 minutes to plough through stuff you’ve been postponing regarding banking, insurance and shared property. Just do it.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You have to be accommodating and patient with others because the moon is opposite your sign. Nevertheless, with both Venus and Jupiter at the top of your chart, you have divine protection. Bosses and parents are impressed with you. You can do no wrong. Start gearing up for fun travel plans!

If Your Birthday Is Today

Politician Joe Biden (1942) shares your birthday. You are courageous, curious and playful. Because this is a year of teaching and learning, you will learn something that starts to take you in a new direction, which could be crucial for your success next year. Why not explore meditation, yoga or any discipline that will help you to get a better understanding of who you are?
