DENVER — Eddy Pineiro put the Bears ahead all by himself in the first half Sunday.

In his first-ever road game, Pineiro made kicks from 40 and 52 yards to give the Bears a 6-3 lead on the Broncos.

Pineiro started his Bears career by making three-straight field goals. He converted his only try in the Bears’ 10-3 season-opening loss to the Packers.

Earlier in the week, Pineiro said he was looking forward to the altitude of the Mile High City.

“I heard the ball flies up there, so it should be fun,” he said.
