Business burglaries reported in Roscoe Village, Lake View

In both cases, someone broke into store front windows and stole cash from the register, police said.

Two businesses were burglarized this week in Roscoe Village and Lake View on the North Side.

In both cases, someone broke front window of a store and stole cash from the register, Chicago police said.

One theft happened between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and 2:13 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 3100 block of North Paulina Street, police said. The other happened at 11:29 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 3200 block of North Damen Avenue.

No suspect description was available.
