Two businesses were burglarized this week in Roscoe Village and Lake View on the North Side.

In both cases, someone broke front window of a store and stole cash from the register, Chicago police said.

One theft happened between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and 2:13 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 3100 block of North Paulina Street, police said. The other happened at 11:29 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 3200 block of North Damen Avenue.

No suspect description was available.
